About Bulgarian Concert Evenings in New York
Celebrating its 20th Anniversary Season, Bulgarian Concert Evenings in New York (BCENY) is a classical and contemporary chamber music series with the mission to present musicians and composers from Bulgaria in creative collaborations with renowned artists from around the world. The majority of our concerts are presented in collaboration with The Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in New York City and performed at the Consulate’s intimate second-floor library, on 121 East 62nd Street, NYC, NY 10065. The series grew out of the well-regarded concert cycle Musical Treasures from Bulgaria, presenting young Bulgarian musicians making their debut at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
Since the establishment of BCENY, all aspects of the concert series have been managed by musicians from Bulgaria. Our concerts are presented thanks to support provided by the American Foundation from Bulgaria and the generous donations of individual contributors.
Front-row and premium reserved tickets are $30.00 for all concerts at the Bulgarian Consulate General. Free seating is very limited. We accept donations of any size. To donate, please mail your tax-deductible contribution to Bulgarian Concert Evenings, P.O. Box 231160, New York, NY 10023 and make checks payable to the American Foundation for Bulgaria, our umbrella organization.
You can also reserve your ticket for a concert on this website under the Tickets and Reservations page.
